Nursing Conferences to Look Forward in 2023
With COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions finally coming to an end, nursing conferences are back in full swing. There's a lot to be excited about. Conferences provide the opportunity to network with other healthcare professionals and develop relationships that can lead to future opportunities. It provides the opportunity to learn about new innovations in nursing, find inspiration from speakers, and potentially earn continuing education units (CEUs).
National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) 71st Annual Convention

The NSNA invites all student nurses to attend its annual conventions. For 2023, the convention's topic, Reflection: A Catalyst for Change, primarily focuses on exploring various nursing specialties and strengthening skill sets. Nelda Godfrey, professor, and Associate Dean for Innovative Partnerships and Practice at the University of Kansas School of Nursing in Kansas City, Kansas, will serve as the keynote speaker.
American Academy of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) Mid-Year Assembly

Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) 47th Biennial Convention

Sigma is an honor society for baccalaureate and graduate nursing students. According to the organization's website, the society boasts more than 135,000 active members in more than 100 countries. Although Sigma has yet to announce the keynote speakers, the organization reports there will be more than 800 oral and poster presentations on various technology, leadership, best practices, media and research topics.
